In order to present the "Urban forest" concept, the school actualize the sustainable dimension within a modern designed building where nature reincorporates into the high-density urban environment in the near future, to evoke the affection for nature once lost in the oriental ancient world and bring to the modern city architecture.

All private and public area has been covered by glass so that it can optimize solar gain using for electricity and nature heat gain. Moreover, transparent design makes both students and staff sense the presence of each other and landscape scenery which enhance the connection between the nature and modern architecture.

Lecture Theater has been separated from the main building and inspired by sail. For the better absorption of solar energy, the "sail" can be opened when it is necessary.

The exigencies of a world in which temperatures, sea-levels, populations, pollution and fuel costs are all rising, while fossil-based energy reserves are falling, mean architecture must do more to help in the creation of truly sustainable cities and buildings. Chicago-based Sean Lally leads a team of architects, landscape architects, engineers and researchers, saying that buildings of the future won't have walls and will instead consist of climate-controlled areas of landscape. So now, architectural education  focuses on concentrating on sustainability, climate change, environmental responsibility and renewable energy. The project, entitled Urban Forest, for example was inspired by the mountainous typology of the surroundings.  Each one of the seventy floors is unique with a different abstract curved shape and layered slightly off-center from it neighboring floors.  The floors give an organic and textured effect to the façade as it rises into the sky. In conclusion, Rather than continue to focus on maximising efficiency for [energy's] conservation and consumption, we must provide an architecture with lifestyles for the future that give us new worlds to strive for and realise.

Exp2. Final Submission

Marker is devoted to integrating itself with the entire sport site. The Base of the marker combines aboriginal culture (boomerang design) and new Australian culture. And the interlaced blocks with varying lengths explain how simplicity illustrates complexity. Finally, the big column jumped out from the blocks indicates the brightness of the future for all people.

Final work

The entire building is seperated to three part - main show room in the middle area, main studio standing above the show room and a small studio space at the back of the show room. Main studio room provides 360 degree panorama. Show room is facing a lake also providing a beautiful scenery. And back studio room provides a more flexible area, which is much more looks like a public space.
