Final work

The entire building is seperated to three part - main show room in the middle area, main studio standing above the show room and a small studio space at the back of the show room. Main studio room provides 360 degree panorama. Show room is facing a lake also providing a beautiful scenery. And back studio room provides a more flexible area, which is much more looks like a public space.

My Three Images

Image one: Best Piece of Creative Work

The lamp is inspired by Sydney Opera House. The designer of Sydney Opera House stated that his inspiration is coming from peeled orange. So I absorb this idea, and put it into my lamp. In order to innovate this brilliant idea, I try to change the cambered “peeled orange” to straight piece of wood layer by layer. Material of this design is wood basically and semitransparent paper.

HERNING MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART

The Herning Center of the Arts unites is designed by American architect Steven Holl, consisted by three distinct cultural institutions: the Herning Art Museum, the MidWest Ensemble and the Socle du Monde. The new Center is intended to be an innovative forum combining visual art and music. The design fuses landscape and architecture in a one-level building that will include permanent and temporary exhibition galleries, a 150-seat auditorium, music rehearsal rooms, a restaurant, a media library, administrative offices and an active landscape.

This photo was captured in Gold Coast. When I went there first time, I was attracted by the fantastic scenery and fascinating architecture, so I caught this piece of scenery to remember the most beautiful afternoon.
