In order to present the "Urban forest" concept, the school actualize the sustainable dimension within a modern designed building where nature reincorporates into the high-density urban environment in the near future, to evoke the affection for nature once lost in the oriental ancient world and bring to the modern city architecture.
All private and public area has been covered by glass so that it can optimize solar gain using for electricity and nature heat gain. Moreover, transparent design makes both students and staff sense the presence of each other and landscape scenery which enhance the connection between the nature and modern architecture.
Lecture Theater has been separated from the main building and inspired by sail. For the better absorption of solar energy, the "sail" can be opened when it is necessary.
